About La Famigila

The Palmichael has been owned and run by the Palmiero family since 1981. It is very much their creation. Michael heads the kitchens and sister Maria runs the front of house. Their priorities are clear and simple: fine authentic Italian food and great friendly service.


The family has always been dedicated to the highest standards for food and hospitality and In September 2020, the Palmichael changed from their “family home” upstairs to create a versatile space that is a sumptuous bar and dining area with a luxurious and inviting atmosphere, perfect for pre-dinner drinks and cocktails.


Available to book for lunch and dinner reservations it offers the perfect setting for group bookings, whether you are entertaining friends, having a business meeting, or hosting a party. The versatile space can host parties for up to 30 guests dining or 50 for drinks and Cicchetti, with direct access to the bar this venue is a great area for receptions. Please contact us for menus.

Our Head Chef

Head chef Michael Palmiero’s dishes focus on seasonal ingredients that are sourced from local selected suppliers and Italian artisan producers.


Cooking has been a life long passion for Michael and has worked in the Mediterranean as a private chef and in various quality hotels around the country. Michael and his team work together developing new dishes and sharing their experience to achieve the highest standard in Italian cuisine.


Throughout the years we have developed classic signature dishes; you can enjoy a selection of these timeless customer favourites on our menu under the Palmichael Classico section
